So now that you read the story, WELCOME BACK :)! We bet it brought tears to your eyes. There is GREAT HOPE, however! Cure AHC is leading the charge to prove a gene therapy approach that may not only cure alternating hemiplegia of childhood, but also provide a pathway that could help THOUSANDS of other diseases affecting millions get to their cures as well.
Your donation will go to this project (and you can read more about the project at https://www.cureahcchallenge.org/ ). But the bottom line is that we need to raise $600,000 to fund the projects that will help us get to the point of human clinical trials. That is why we are working hard to raise funds to give Ellie Kate a shot at a better life so that alternating hemiplegia of childhood will not erase her childhood like it has for way to many kids.
