Join us for the 8th annual Del's Ride at Sleepy Hollow Inn Ski and Bike Center in Huntington VT on Sunday, August 29th. Del's Ride raises money to benefit Cure AHC: Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood. Again, due to COVID - 19 we are continuing our "back to basics" event, we are offering 3 events: the 20 plus mountain bike ride and 6 mile trail run (with a new route this year!) and a "virtual" event for our friends near and far who can not physically be here on August 29th. Unfortunately we will not be able to offer kids or adaptive activities or celebratory barbecue- we are keeping our fingers crossed for 2022!  A minimum $75 donation is due at registration, additional fundraising is encouraged. Registration will include signing up for either the mountain bike start time at 12:30 pm or the trail run start time at 1:00 pm to ensure social distancing; or our "Virtual" offering, which you can do whenever and wherever you please! All net proceeds benefit Cure AHC www.cureahc.org.

This roughly 22-mile route begins at Sleepy Hollow, exits through the back of the Sleepy Hollow trails, goes into and out of the Hinesburg Town Forest, through the Carse trail network, and then returns to Sleepy Hollow. Ride time 4-5 hours
Del's trail run 1:00PM start time $75.00

This year we have a new trail run route - The run begins at sleepy hollow and will follow the dels ride route to the Hinesburg town forest parking lot where there will be an aid station and will run back to sleepy hollow following the dels ride return route. This is a 6 mile run total

If you can’t make it to Sleepy Hollow this year for Del’s Ride, but you want to be part of this awesome event- sign up to ride or run on your own! Select a ride or run that will push you to work hard and demonstrate perseverance. Then complete it on your own or with a group of friends. Before your ride or run let us know what your plans are and we will post it to our Facebook page. On the day of the event send us some before, during and after pics if you can and we will post those as well. To sign up select the Ride on Your Own Option and then create your own Fundraising page. We will send you an official Del’s Ride T-Shirt and stickers.
