In loving memory of Lu Lu

Louise (Lu, Lulu, Grammy) Schweitzer was an amazing wife of fifty six years, mother of two daughters and most of all grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren. Her only grandson, Zach has a rare disease called Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC). Zach's "Grammy" recently lost a seven year battle with several cancers. Lu shares her strength and determination for her grandson to keep fighting.

AHC is terrible and debilitating disease that causes so many difficulties in the lives of those who suffer with it including seizures, paralysis, pain, dystonia and developmental delay to name a few. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Cure AHC foundation to support ongoing research in finding a cure for Zach's disease (ATP1a2 project). Lu prayed for a day when her grandson and all AHC champions could live a pain free life. Please help to make her prayers come true.
