Thank you for Registering for Del's Ride! Last year’s Del's Ride and Trail Run was a huge success- we raised $22,000 to benefit Cure AHC! Thank you for all your support and please join us this year and bring your friends to ride, run and celebrate.
Del's Ride is a single-track mountain bike event and trail run to benefit Cure AHC in support of 9-year-old Delaney Johnson of Essex Junction, VT.
Delaney has a debilitating disorder known as Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC) and epilepsy. There is no cure or 100 percent effective treatment for AHC, which is characterized by recurrent episodes of temporary paralysis, often affecting one side of the body (hemiplegia).
In 2017 we raised $25,000 for Cure AHC! You can help us continue to raise money by creating your fundraising page below. Your efforts will go to the threefold mission of Cure AHC: to find more undiagnosed cases, to improve quality of life (through the Multidisciplinary Clinic at Duke University amongst other efforts), and to fund research towards the cure (like the AAV Gene Therapy Project). You can create a team to help enhance your fundraising power :) ! There is a minimum of $75 to raise. Check out our FACEBOOK PAGE for many opportunities to earn prizes for your fundraising efforts. Since our first ride in 2014 we've raised nearly $92,000!
